BATTLE CREEK CHORUS EARNS SECOND PLACE IN REGIONAL CONTEST

Battle Creek, MI – May 20, 2023 …  The Battle Creek Chorus - Sweet Adelines (BCC), under the direction of Certified Harmony 500 Director Lynne Erskine Peirce,  recently returned from Great Lakes Harmony Region 17 Competition May 19-20 in Cleveland, Ohio and was awarded 2023 – Second  Place, Division A and placed Seventh overall. Twelve Choruses competed on stage at the Hilton Cleveland Convention Center. 

BCC is an award-winning a cappella chorus, earning many accolades including:

2023 Region 17 2nd Place Small Chorus Division

2022 Region 17 3rd Place Small Chorus Division & MOST IMPROVED CHORUS

Our WINTER HARMONY WEEKEND features master 700 director Michael Gellert (Harbor City Music Co.) who will inspire you to "Sing with Freedom!".  We will debut our Mother-Daughter (Grandmother... and Granddaughter...) Chorus and our Quartet Chorus (for members of registered quartets) will sing on the Saturday evening Showcase!  Music will be provided upon registration for those registering for either chorus.

Battle Creek, Michigan – June 8, 2022 … The Battle Creek Chorus - Sweet Adelines (BCC) recently had their annual installation of Team Leaders and dinner Wednesday June 1st at Schuler’s Pub in Marshall.    The following members assumed office for 2019:

The Chorus  was awarded 2022- Third Place, Division A and Most Improved Chorus.  Sixteen Choruses competed on stage.   

BCC is an award-winning a cappella chorus for women singers, earning many accolades, including 2017 - 18 1^st Place Division A and 2016’s 2^nd Place Division A.  Sweet Adelines International (SAI) Great Lakes Harmony Region 17 contains parts of Indiana, Michigan, New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania and has over 800 members in 22 choruses and over 30 registered quartets. 

May 19, 2018 ... The Battle Creek Chorus - Sweet Adelines (BCC), under the direction of Certified Harmony 500 Director Lynne Erskine Peirce,  recently returned from Great Lakes Harmony Region 17 Competition May 18-19  in Cleveland, Ohio and was awarded 2018 - First Place, Division A and placed Sixth overall. Fourteen Choruses competed on stage.   

BCC is an award-winning a cappella chorus for women singers, earning many accolades, including 2017’s 1^st Place Division A and 2016’s 2^nd Place Division A.  Sweet Adelines International (SAI) Great Lakes Harmony Region 17 contains parts of Indiana, Michigan, New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania and has over 900 members in 24 choruses and over 37 registered quartets.
