Battle Creek, MI – May 22,  2018 …  The Battle Creek Chorus - Sweet Adelines (BCC), under the direction of Certified Harmony 500 Director Lynne Erskine Peirce,  recently returned from Great Lakes Harmony Region 17 Competition May 17-18 in Cleveland, Ohio and was awarded 2019 - Third Place, Division A and placed Eighth overall. Sixteen Choruses competed on stage.   

BCC is an award-winning a cappella chorus for women singers, earning many accolades, including 2017 - 18 1st Place Division A and 2016’s 2nd Place Division A.  Sweet Adelines International (SAI) Great Lakes Harmony Region 17 contains parts of Indiana, Michigan, New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania and has over 800 members in 22 choruses and over 30 registered quartets. 

SUREFIRE PLACES 3rd  

Also at the Regional Competition, the award-winning Surefire Quartet placed 3rd in the Quartet Division. Sixteen quartets competed. Surefire has earned many achievements, including: 2018 Region 17 2nd Place Quartet & International Wildcard Competitior, 2017 2nd Place Quartet, 2016 4th Place Quartet, and 2015 1st Place Quartet. Please click here to read more about Surefire
